Well, wasn't that simply fascinating?
I definitely grew to like each boy more. I found Blue and Noah to be a hilarious duo, and oh man, the slow burn. A strong sequel, read immediately after finishing The Raven Boys. Shivers (wink).
When Gansey fucking goes "I wish you could be kissed, Jane. Because I would beg just one off you," I think part of my heart was shattered and rebuilt at the same time.
Also, Adam, my poor poor baby.
He was the boy, the blow, the counter, the flaring anger that drove it all.
In that moment, Blue was a little in love with all of them. Their magic. Their quest. Their awfulness and strangeness. Her raven boys.
I think I'm growing to do more than just love the characters in concept. I just adore them, and I want them to be safe. But alas.
Also, what was this line about, Gansey? She's a p-platypus??
Blue was a fanciful but sensible thing, like a platypus, or one of those sandwiches that had been cut into circles for a fancy tea party.
I am a wild rush to find out what happens next.
